Snow!

I love snow. I love the cushioned quiet of the city under its blanket.

The city looks beautiful. I like venturing out in fresh snow, taking in the utterly changed landscape. There’s something slightly wrong about breaking virgin snowfall. Almost like spoiling a painting. Maybe you should just leave it for someone else to enjoy?

But its Sunday night and there’s no time to enjoy it. In the morning it’ll probably just be slush, from the thaw of the sun and the trampling of a hundred boots and a hundred cars in the rush hour. I can already hear a load of idiots shouting and mucking about, sledging on boards they stole from who knows where. Snow is fun too, but I think I prefer the peace of it to the snow fights.

I wish it was a quiet morning so Penny and I could see the Pavilion and the beach with this special, temporary redecoration.
