It don’t half creep up on you…

I make it about 130 days until our wedding, which means we’d better get a move on with choosing invitations, flowers and cakes. We’ve ordered more sample invitations, just hoping now they won’t take a month to arrive then turn out to be rubbish! I’ve always said, none of this is particularly difficult or stressful, but time does have a habit of creeping up on you…

Speaking of which, in one week’s time I’ll be the manager of the department. I was shown the invoice in/out spreadsheet, the various quirks for the difficult clients and all the myriad things I’ll have to remember and be in control of, as well as doing at least half of the things I’ve always done (at least for a while). I can’t say I’m relishing the thought of my first month.
