A bit of Googling reveals that it’s one of a series, with a no-doubt scatterbrained, death-of-feminism, punchable victim of a central character (though almost certainly with a heart of gold and looking for the right man): the ‘Shopaholic’ to which the title refers.
She appears in the other cry-until-you-laugh books: “Shopaholic Ties The Knot”, “Shopaholic and Baby” and “Shopaholic’s Anal Rape Fantasy”.
