The council people want to come round and fix the lock on the balcony door. I arranged it for 8am on Friday so I can go to work.
Then I got a phone call: Can they come at 8.30am instead? Thing is, the traffic is bad at that time in the morning.
Leaving aside the fact that the traffic is much worse at 8.30 than it is at 8.00, why don’t they just leave a bit earlier?
